FLD Series Flywheel Coupling | Guardian Couplings

The FLD coupling enables the hydraulic pump to be driven from the pulley side of the engine. The coupling features a retractable sleeve for easy belt replacement. This allows you to service the equipment without removing the pump. The FLD coupling is fully customizable to suit a variety of engine manufacturers and designs.

Product Features

CUSTOMIZED SOLUTION - Every application is suited to fit specifically with the end users pulley. Each flange is engineered to mate with the pulley and incorporates the Guardian Guardex^TM M/I style series of couplings.
MISALIGNMENT - Double crowned tooth design provides free axial movement, low friction and minimum stress during misalignment. Designs are available with up to 3/8” axial travel.
ENVIRONMENT - Nylon and steel components allow high ambient temperature operation without lubrication or maintenance. Continuous operating ambients in the ranges between (-) 13°F and (+) 180°F. Heat stabilized polyamide available for temperatures up to (+) 250°F.
