Dynaline
A single piece, rubber-in-shear coupling, available in five sizes (0D thru 4D), these couplings are used in sub-fractional thru 3HP applications, with torque ratings to 54 in#. End fittings are made from Zinc, with rubber element sleeves. Bore sizes to 3/4" (19mm). Coupling length can be varied to suit the application.

Gear Grip
A three-piece coupling, in shear design, available in twenty sizes (11PG thru 86PG). These couplings are used in a variety of general use applications to 50HP (nominal torque ratings to 1800 in#). End fittings are available in Zinc and PM steel, with elements available in extruded rubber, reinforced rubber, and polyurethane for a very resilient connection. Bore sizes to 1-7/8" (47mm). Coupling length can be varied to suit the application.

Guardex Style "M"
A three-piece double crowned tooth coupling, with nylon sleeve and steel hubs, available in eleven sizes (M14 thru M100). Size number signifies maximum hub bore. For example, an M100 coupling can accept 100mm bore maximum. Used in electric motor driven equipment to 300HP (nominal torque ratings to 11,000 in#). Perfectly interchangeable with popular European designs of the same type.

Guardex Style "I"
The same as the style "M" above, but designed to work with Mannesmann DEMAG brake motors KBA71 thru KBA180.

Guardex "LJW" Straight Jaw Coupling
A three-piece "all purpose" jaw coupling, available in eleven sizes (L035-L225). This coupling is perfectly interchangeable with other popular domestic brands of the same design. Hubs are available in sintered iron, with elements available in Buna-N, urethane, or Hytrel. Torque ratings to 2300 in#. Very economical!

Guardex "SWJW" Wrap Change-in-Place Jaw Coupling
Same as the "LJW" except the element can be changed in place.

Guardex Curved Jaw Coupling
A three-piece curved jaw design, specifically made to reduce edge pressure. Developed in Europe, these couplings are perfectly interchangeable with German and Italian designs of the same type. Hubs are produced from a variety of materials, including aluminum, gray iron, sintered steel, nodular iron, and stainless steel. The elements (also known as "Spiders") are made from variable durometer urethane. Available in thirteen sizes, bores to 145mm. Great for electric motor driven pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors. Designed to be failsafe, and will continue to run if element fails. Good for reversing loads, due to compressive nature of design.

Guardex Tapered Grid Coupling
A high torque coupling used in pump and gearbox applications with a very high level of torsional stiffness, generated by spring "grid" that can be changed in place. Requires lubrication. Torque capacities to 50,000 ft#, bore capacities to 10" (250mm). Horizontal split cover available from stock, vertical split cover available as custom upon request. Sixteen sizes available, with moderate to high damping coefficients.

Guardex Disc Membrane Coupling
An all-steel, high-torque coupling, the main characteristic of which is its ability for high speed at zero backlash. Available in single and double discs. Custom specials are also offered with spacers and varied bolt patterns for high torque capacities. Typical applications include compressors, turbine driven gearboxes, and rolling mills.

Superflex
A three-piece, highly-elastic design perfect for one, two, or three cylinder diesel driven equipment. Available in eight sizes, bores to 5" (127mm), and torque capacities to 21,000 in#. The rubber element is pre-stressed with a metallic band that must be cut upon installation. Used on a wide variety of applications including light towers, gen sets, compressors, and more.

Guardex "SG" Steel Gear
High-torque steel coupling that is half-for-half interchangeable with any other gear coupling made to AGMA standards. Crowned gear teeth, lubrication required. Torque ratings to 84,000 ft#, bore diameters to 11" (280mm). Double engagement couplings are standard, with single engagement available upon custom order.

Oil Burner Couplings
One of the original Guardian products, this product is excellent for older residential heating applications. Fits Sundstrand, Borg Warner, and Webster fuel pumps. Provided as single couplings or as "repair packs" / "repair kits".

Stainless Bellows
Used for high-precision servo drives, torsionally stiff. Speed range to 10,000 RPM, with bore sizes available to 20m.

Aluminum Disc Membrane
Torsionally stiff coupling used for high-precision servo drives. Speed range to 25,000 RPM, with bore sizes available to 28mm.

Oldham Coupling
All-purpose coupling, good for stepper drives. Three-piece assembly includes acetal center disc and aluminum hubs. Best choice for parallel misalignments due to sliding center disc. Bore sizes to 30mm.

Universal Lateral Coupling
This coupling has similar characteristics to a polymide U-Joint. Low torque capacity, but can perform light push-pull duty.

Multi Beam Coupling
Used primarily for lead screw/ball screw applications. Available in 3-beam/6-beam configurations and aluminum/stainless designs.

Mini Jaw Coupling
Same characteristics as the curved jaw, except these are zero backlash to the pre-load limit of the spider. A very good all-purpose coupling assembly with respectable torque capacity to 24mm bores.

Guardex "FL"
A two-piece flywheel coupling used on off-highway construction equipment (skid steer loaders, aerial lifts, excavators, harvestors, bucket loaders, wheeled loaders, baggage handlers, and directional boring equipment). The design consists of a nylon flywheel flange (both SAE and metric flywheels) and steel hub with internal spline or straight bore with keyway. Accommodates virtually any hydraulic pump! No lubrication required. Steel pump mounting plates; aluminum or gray iron bell housings are also available for just about any engine including Ford, Isuzu, Nissan, Kubota, Deutz, Hatz, Lister Petter, Cummins, Lombardini, Deere, Yanmar, CAT, Perkins, Briggs/Daihatsu, and GM.

Guardex "FLD"
This coupling enables the drive of hydraulic pumps from the pulley side of the engine. A retractable sleeve is provided for easy "V" belt replacement without pump disassembly.

Guardex "FBA"
This one-piece flywheel coupling (FBA stands for Flywheel Blind Assembly) is used on the same low-inertia equipment as the "FL" design, except there is no positioning of hubs to worry about. Simply plug the hydraulic pump into the pump plate or bell casting and it will index into the flywheel coupling hub. Lubrication is required with this design, and is for splined shafting only.

Guardex "FH"
This design is intended for high-inertia loads such as compressors, large pumps, and generator sets. Fits all SAE flywheels from SAE 7-1/2 thru SAE 18. Variable durometer rubber inserts can provide torque capacities to 88,500 in#. Great vibration damping characteristics!

Guardex "HH"
A shaft-to-shaft coupling version of the "FH" above.

"G" Series Mount
Fits most engines made by Honda, Briggs, Kohler, Kawasaki, and Robin. These light weight aluminum castings mount directly to the engine pilot face and enable the drive of hydraulic pumps. Typically, a jaw coupling is provided with these castings as a kit.

"E" Series Mounts
Fits NEMA "C" face motors (56C thru 405 TSC) and allows the drive of hydraulic pumps (hydraulic power units). Jaw couplings can also be provided with these castings.
